Oh the weather outside is frightful, but kissing is so delightful. And since we've no place to go, let 'em flow, let 'em flow, let 'em flow! Kisses that is.

This meme's as simple as it comes. There's mistletoe. It might be magical and making kisses happen where they shouldn't, aspirational and encouraging kisses to happen where they wouldn't, inspirational and suggesting kisses where they haven't but maybe should, or just plain existential and making excuses for kisses that already do.

How do?

1. Comment with your characters under the mistletoe. Be as descriptive or generic as you like.
2. Include any limitations (like sex or age of partner, or type of kiss).
3. Tag other characters with your characters.
4. Prosper!

"Probably the best way to start the holidays," Steve said. Now they were talking about it, he felt shy. His cheeks were hot. "But that's what the mistletoe is for, isn't it?"

Bucky smiled, taking one of Steve's hands in his, threading their fingers together. "Maybe I should steal some and we take it back to our room, hmm?" He was kidding, mostly, but there was a hint of mischief in his eyes.

Steve felt the weight of Bucky's hand in his own, the gentle pressure of their fingers together, and it warmed him from the inside out.

"Our room?" he asked, grinning softly. "I mean, yes, but I didn't realize it was our room."

Bucky blushed. He realized too late what he'd said. And while he didn't want to take it back, the grin Steve gave him put butterflies in his stomach. He blinked, giving Steve's hand a squeeze.

"It might as well be. You're there often enough..." Often, the one could always be found in the other's room, easier than being out in public. At least for Bucky. "Unless you don't want it to be?"

"Well, it would save me a lot of time wandering around the grounds." Steve shrugged gently. The blush on Bucky's face made things inside Steve stir. He couldn't stop his warm, affectionate smile from spreading.

"Are you asking me to move in with you? What if you want to have a girl over?"

Bucky rolled his eyes and glared at Steve. There was a look on his face, something that said he wasn't amused.

"I should be asking you that, hmm? What if you want a girl over?" He sighed, crossing his arms over his chest. "If you don't want to move in with me, you can just say no."

He was teasing. Mostly. Still, the fact that Steve didn't say yes right away did make him worry a little.

Steve stepped closer, bringing one hand down to rest carefully on Bucky's hip, loving the gentle pout on his friend's face.

"I'll just put a sock on the door handle." It was a huge tease. Steve didn't want to have any girls over. He just wanted to be close to Bucky. He came in closer, so close he could feel the warmth of Bucky's human arm and the chill of Bucky's metal arm against his chest--though he wasn't quite touching the other man. Yet.

"I want to move in with you." Steve purred, nearly a whisper, as he leaned in ever closer. He didn't think he was good at being sexy, or flirting. This was new territory for him, and it made him blush. He was trying.

"Please."

Bucky smiled. "Who are you and what have you done with Steve Rogers?" Raising his human hand, he pressed it to the back of Steve's neck and leaned in for another, deeper kiss.

A shiver ran down his spine as he did so.

"I want to move in with you too," he whispered. "I like waking up beside you." His lips kissed up to Steve's ear, nuzzling just beneath it.

"It better be a big sock..."

And there was the smile. The smile that only came out for Steve. He moved in even closer, just before Bucky's hand found the back of his neck. And the kissed. Passion and desire welled up within Steve as they kissed. There was a physical reaction to it--the kind that would have made Steve incredibly embarrassed if they were ...

Wait. They were somewhere public. Dang. Hopefully no one would notice before they went back to their room.

Steve's eyes were still closed, and he was turning his face just slightly so Bucky had access to whatever he wanted. Cheek, jaw, ear, neck.

"All my socks are big socks," Steve whispered, missing the innuendo completely. He was a little on the innocent side, wasn't he? "You should know that by now."

Bucky laughed, loudly. He pulled back, giving Steve a look. Oh Steve, cute and innocent Steve. Bucky never wanted you to be anything but who you were.

"Let's go back and you can show me these big socks." Reaching down, he took Steve's hand in his, threading their fingers together. "I've got something to show you too. In private."

And the laugh! Steve got the smile and the laugh. He was blushing and smiling, one hand on Bucky's hip, the other wrapped around his back. When Bucky reached for his hand, he gave it a little squeeze, then nodded.

"Sounds good." Steve was eternally thankful that his pants were a little on the baggy side. He shifted as they started walking, one hip lifting to better hide his... reaction. "What do you have to show me?"

"Oh, Stevie..." Bucky leaned in, nipping at Steve's ear as they walked out, one arm wrapping firmly around Steve's back. "If I tell you what I want to show you, then it won't be a surprise."

He laughed and tugged Steve slightly. "Come on..."
