What R This - Halloween Plot?!

Crack plot ahoy!

So stealing the plot right from Buffy (sort of), The Madonna Inn is going to experience some weirdness on Halloween.

Basic Premise
There will be a box of costumes that is available at the boutique Monday Oct 29. This can be full costumes or parts of costumes (like a top hat) - whatever it is your pup wants to use. If they use stuff from this box, they will be affected at the Halloween Party that Caroline is organizing.

How is my pup affected?
You get to choose! For one, this plot is optional meaning if you don't want your pup to be involved, they don't have to be. :)

If you do there are 2 options.

Option 1: Your pup changes into the costume on a basic level. So, for example, Mary turns into a vampire, but still knows she's Mary and that she shouldn't be a vampire. Or Regina turns into a human maid and doesn't have any powers, wtf!

Option 2: Your pup changes completely! If they turn into a vampire, they are whatever vampire personality person you want them to be! Your pup is now a princess who faints at the slightest thing and thinks there should be knights rescuing her! You are a legit black cat who wants to chase a mouse and drink cream.


More important information
Some basic rules and question-answering:

The plot will last 2 days. Wednesday Oct 31 - Thursday Nov 1. Your character changes the moment they put on the costume on Halloween and by midnight Nov 1 they poof back. This is so Dia de Los Muertos can be celebrated the next day! (Obviously you can backdate things all you want)

You won't be able to find any costumes that are 'licensed' meaning no Optimus Prime or Wolverine costume. HOWEVER, anything in the public domain is fair game (But, for example, Aladdin is from the original story and not the Disney version).

"But I really had my heart set on Superman!" - You can be superman-esque! What this means is you can be the essence of Superman (a indestructible dude who can fly, has laser beam eyes, and is morally good and just and even thinks that glasses and a tie hides his identity) you just wouldn't be "Clark Kent" and "Superman". If you wanted to a demon like in Supernatural, you could still go black-eye and evil, but you couldn't be Meg specifically.

I want my pup to dress up, but not change! - This is totally possible! They just so happened not to pick the costume from the one box that is going to cause the mischief.

If you happen to be killed or die somehow, you just would go unconscious and wake up later confused.

It is up to you if you want your pup to remember the Halloween shenanigans or not!

Is this a possibility still, if he grabs something out of the box to complete the look?

I don't see why not? It'd be an Option 1: He now looks like an older, goateed version of himself dressed as Tony Stark.

Caroline will get to be human again for a couple days. This is very exciting to her.

The "wouldn't it be funny if..." part of my brain suggested the twins, Percy, and Steph as some group theme costumes, but I have no ideas.

Also Vex will be over halfway through her pregnancy on Halloween, so I really need to consider if I want magic screwing with that in any way.

Of mine, I think only Loki is likely to costume, but I don't know whether it will be magic-effect or if so how much. It depends a lot, I think, on whether anyone would want to interact with him during the time.

Sunny and Snow are less into the whole idea, but we'll see. If the right idea comes along. And yes, Snow has a black cat now, but I think she'd panic at the idea of being a witch, so not that.

* Coby will not be affected by the costume magic. His sense of self is shaky enough as is.

* Corbie and Mildmay, yes, and I'm leaning toward something where he won't have a limp. Or a scar. Somehow. But I have no idea what.

* Vex likes the idea of a group or couple's costume. And she already has a witch hat ;)

* Emma doesn't generally dress up for Halloween (it's her cousin's birthday). So someone would have to talk her into a costume, but I feel like, of mine, I could have the most fun with her in this plot. Unfortunately, the only specific idea I had won't work, because it's a licensed character.

tl;dr - Help me come up with ideas?

Annie - She's either going as a hulk-like monster girl (so she'll be big, green, and prone to anger) or Little Red Riding Hood. I'm leaning to hulk-like because she likes The Hulk a lot so she would find green makeup in the box and cover herself.

Maria - She's going to dress up like an alien because she can't help herself. She'll gain the powers of the aliens she knows back home and freak out.

Brad - He would be reluctant to dress up, but I'd like to say Caroline persuaded him so he could try to have fun. He'll be Robin Hood from no actual canon, but the legend itself.

Quill - He is going to dress up like Kevin Bacon from Footloose and not change, but he will be obnoxious anyways haha

Tyrone - Is going to attend the party, but sitting this one out for costumes as he's had a lot of drama in his life lately.

I noticed that Thor (Norse legends) is public domain so I'll assume Sif from the Norse legends (not MCU) is fair game as well. *insert evil cackle here* Would it be fine to have Jane dress/become legend Sif (not Marvel/comic Sif)?

All right, preliminary idea for Snow is that she's going to dress up as the fairy tale of Snow White and spend some time as an actual white girl. I've wanted her to realize for years that this wouldn't actually make her feel any better or fix anything.

Dean would so be Batman if possible. :P But I'm going to be mean and give him angel wings. He'll be a Supernatural type of angel but know he's Dean that shouldn't be an angel. (and yet he is!)

Buffy will be a centaur. Yep there actually is an inflatable centaur costume - apparently it's a thing.

Mia will be an English Nanny like Mary Poppins but not Mary Poppins.

Liz is I dunno yet lol I have a few options. Either Dorothy Gale, something super smart like a rocket scientist, or totally opposite like a 'ditzy cheerleader' or something. I need to ponder.

Alec is a curmudgeon, but Peter's being annoying so he's going to put on a jean jacket and shades from the box and become a Greaser unwittingly

Miguel will dress up as his favorite wrestler complete with sparkly underpants and mask! :p He will not change.

Clarice will be a genie. I haven't decided if she'll change or just have a regular costume.

Kitty - I'll take suggestions. Right now the best I've got is Kitty and Lara as flappers. Or Kitty could be a Firebird, continuing her theme of dance costumes.

Sam - hates Halloween. I want him to have to dress up as something, but he's going to require a LOT of prodding from Dean or someone slapping a mask on him or something. Priest-Sam who is actually a priest would be pretty funny.

Lillith - I don't have any thoughts for her, because she's able to be anything she wants all the time. Someone would need to explain it to her.

Regina - I have a somewhat disgustingly sappy idea for this, but I want to discuss it with Heather first.

Been talking with Missy. Steve and Bucky are going to have coordinating costumes. I believe we agreed on pirates? Not sure what option to go with. I'd prefer to go with 1 and have Bucky still know who he is, but need to discuss with Missy.

Unless someone really wants to rope her in, Sunny's not going to be dressing up beyond wearing all white. She only does that on special occasions because to her, white is a costume for "I am a soft, angelic albino."

Okay, now that I'm back:

Hathaway - rocker type with Mary - apologies all around.

Dyson - apparently there is a sappy idea in the works that I'm not up on the specifics of yet but hey I say Dyson is in for whatever it is.

River Tam - I have zero ideas. Plus there is something interesting about the idea of her reacting to the normal noise in her head changing personalities on her that I enjoy.

River Song - She says she doesn't do costumes. Which is a lie because she TOTALLY does costumes. but on this particular holiday she will just enjoy people watching so if anyone needs/wants a straight man for this she's available.

Note: I am dressing up as business casual Snow White.
