strangetrip_ooc | State of the Characters + Who Should Thread

Hi all! So I know that as a teacher, I have just come out of a fog of "So, September. What?" And while reasons are not the same across the board, I know I'm not the only person in a state of "Wait what" about how things are currently going in the game.

So! Let's help each other get caught up.

This isn't going to be some big, formal questionnaire. I just want us to use this space for--

1. Telling us what your characters are up to. Say as much or as little as you want about how your characters are doing and/or what you want them to be doing in future.

2. Asking for threads. Is there a character or group you're interested in making ties with, but you haven't reached out yet? Toss it out there.

3. Suggesting threads to others. Often times, we don't see the full potential for our own characters and it takes another person's perspective to see comedy and drama gold.

You can do one big comment for all your characters or separate comments for each, whichever works best for you.

Tony's taken some of Rocket's suggestions (mainly the arc reactor being the focal point and how that goes awry) and ideas to heart and wants to do further development with implementation of them into his suit :)

Miguel would be happy that his traditions could help Liz (and Alec) but mostly Liz. ;)

heh Miguel considers Dante very sensible, too! But definitely Dante first and then maybe Miguel happen on them.

Woo hoo for Molly and Loki.

Molly has definitely heard about Thor from Jane so that works!

I am always up for some Hurley, Miguel and Dante time. Whenever works for you!

FWIW, you can always have Vax? Not sure if he’d be useful for what you have in mind, but he could totally be drinking at the bar after Kash and Zahra go poof and ask/say things of the clairvoyant he would usually know better to avoid...

Excellent! Storm will be happy to meet another mutant and definitely meeting the former street kids will make her very happy.

He'd also wonder if the ones that are dead in Thor's present but alive here would feel drawn to the ofrenda and not know why. :D

We need to thread Sunny and Vex at least once.

I've been thinking that Jackson needs to thread with either Sunny or Snow, and since Snow is much more likely to punch things until her knuckles bleed after losing Kash, probably her.

- Working on not worrying about whatever Regina has up her sleeve for finding the Norn
- Hunting/fishing and supplying the Inn with red meat (venison) and seafood and skins and really if you can find it in the woods and need it he can likely get it.

He could use some male friends. He misses Hale and Trick a lot. So he's open to hunting/fishing trips as others may be interested. He can also play chess and cards and any number of other games of chance and was pondering poker night if anyone is interested.

Generally making a nuisance of herself, enjoying her new friendship with Thor and possibly getting to know Loki (who might be her doppleganger).

Lessons with Peter - she is open to lessons on history, anthropology, science and tech etc for any other school age folk that might be looking for lessons.

Dealing with the enigma that is John Smith.

Dating Mary in a slightly serious manner. Actively avoiding her sons (which we should change).

Being a suck on society, he needs a job but he's lacking in skills outside cop and almost priest. Spends a lot of time reading whatever is available and playing his guitar.

Sort of developing a tentative friendship with Yana and is preparing the shovel speech for Lara in case he needs it because Kitty might be the closest thing to a real friend he has.

Like Dyson could probably use some male friends too.

Has been testing out not taking some of her meds while Sam is distracted with Bo's stuff. SO she may go a little crazier if anyone would like to encounter that.

Liz should introduce her and Maria and they should have that sleepover Liz mentioned.

Threads with the Winchester family are always welcome and really anyone who doesn't want their mind read but might need a nudge she's here to help. Well, no she's here to be morbid and creepifying probably but it might end up being helpful.
