His head tilted and he watched her curiously. "I would assume it's better than being not nice?"

His good hand reached up to scratch at the back of his neck. "I..." He didn't know how to politely say that he wasn't sure he wanted her to. He barely knew her. And, while she had been nice to him, he didn't know if it was the truth or an act. He'd been good at acting a while. "Not yet. Tell me more about this place? Can you show me around it?
