His examination of the lobby eventually brings his eyes back around to where she's standing. He just looks for a moment, as though trying to decide if she's really there, and once he's blinked a few times and she's still standing there, he lets himself turn in her direction. But he doesn't come any closer yet. It could still be some kind of trick.
